Dokumentation

This stained-glass panel has models in the graphic work of Jost Amman (1539–1591). The donor inscription (not fully deciphered) reads: ‘Hans Wÿerman Der / Zit ..seller Und [Z]olner / 1586’ (‘Hans Weyermann, currently ... and tollkeeper, 1586’).

An almost identical Hans Weyermann panel is in the Historisches Museum in Bern.
