This technically and artistically sophisticated and beautifully produced panel in Swiss Renaissance style shows the arms of the donor between a male and a female supporter. The picture panes at the top are related to the practice of the doctor, who had studied in Basel and probably also practised there. On the right side a cataract operation is being carried out, and on the left a patient receives a visit.
