The shield of the city, with the black crozier, held here by the griffin bird, the heraldic beast of Kleinbasel (Little Basel), the part of the city that lies on the eastern side of the Rhine.

Colourless round unipartite panel, finely painted with black vitreous paint and yellow silver stain

An attractive little heraldic piece with fine painting and in very good condition.
