Andreas Paul Weber (1893-1980)

Back to Artistlist

The lithographer, draughtsman, decorator and painter Paul Andreas Weber ‑ a controverisal figure, on account of the caricatures by him printed in the service of the National Socialists ‑ left behind a large output of works in stained glass that has remained unknown to this day. This body of work is currently being reviewed by Dr Klaus J. Dorsch, director of the A. Paul Weber-Museum in Ratzeburg, and is due to be displayed to the public.

The design of the panel depicting Susanna at her Bath and signed ‘WEBER’ may have been a commission to a design by Andreas Paul Weber.
