Louis Halter (1886-1956)

The glass-painter Louis Halter (1886-1956), who emigrated from Alsace region to Switzerland in 1911, founded his own studio in Bern in 1916 after periods in Germany and France, some of them spent in study. The studio was run by three generations of the family and is still active.
