Gian Casty (1914-1979)

Back to Artistlist

Gian Casty was an important exponent of glass-painting in Switzerland in the twentieth century. He is particularly known for his simple, spirited compositions, which he himself executed in glass with a similarly spirited and unminstakable technique.

In the final years of his life, his work was reappraised and found recognition in several exhibitions.
