1964–67 – studied psychology in Munich and Tübingen.
1967–68 – studied at the École Supérieure des Beaux-art in Paris, study trip to London.

Since completing her studies, Isensee has worked as a freelance artist in Buoch near Stuttgart, specializing in the execution of glass (both architectural glazing and individual panels), drawing, and etching. There have been numerous exhibitions of her works, which can also be found in public collections. ‘The essential impetus of Ada Isensee’s artistic creativity consists in plumbing the spiritual and emotional depths of human existence. Visionary landscapes, plants, animals, creatures from myth and legend, and the ever-returning image of the human countenance are the building blocks of her printed graphic works, drawings, and glass-paintings.’ (after Ada Isensee)
